Artist Spotlight
Terry LeLiever
For many years, my artistic journey has been deeply rooted in capturing the landscapes of places I have visited. Each scene is imbued with personal memories and emotional resonance. These paintings served as visual diaries, preserving moments and the unique atmosphere of locations that have touched my life. During the isolation of the Covid pandemic, I found myself drawn to experimentation, discovering cold wax as a new medium. This shift sparked a transformation in my work, guiding me from representational landscapes toward the expressive freedom of abstraction. Through layering, texture and the tactile qualities of cold wax, I began to explore the essence of memory and place beyond literal depiction, allowing intuition and emotion to shape each piece.
